What is STAIR-NST?

STAIR-NST (Skills Training in Affective and Interpersonal Regulation with Narrative Story-Telling) is a therapy designed to help people who have experienced trauma by teaching them how to manage emotions, improve relationships, and process their past in a healthy way. The first part focuses on building skills, like recognizing emotions, handling stress, and communicating better with others. Once a person feels more in control, the second part helps them safely talk about and make sense of their trauma through storytelling, so it no longer feels as overwhelming. This step-by-step approach makes healing more manageable and helps people move forward with confidence and stronger connections.

What is the week-by-week process of STAIR-NST?

STAIR-NST follows a structured, time-limited, and goal-oriented process, with the number of sessions varying depending on each person's healing journey.
